				You can install slackware packages, SMS is using slackware packages and slackware package management anyway.

You might need some extra packages from slackware like seamonkey-solibs.

To install a TXZ package use 'installpkg'

http://sms.it-ccs.com/wiki/#LinkTarget_2134

or you can use webmin -> system -> software-packages

				What SMS version you are using?

KDE-3.5.x can't handle txz, so if you are not going to install from console, use webmin.

Webmin had a bug with txz packages but that is already fixed, just upgrade webmin package from SMS-Current with

 	  | Code: | 	 		  slapt-get -u

slapt-get i webmin

 |

or

from webmin

 	  | Code: | 	 		  | webmin -> webmin configuration -> upgrade webmin |

				Usually is should be at

KDE start menu -> Internet

Open a terminal and type "opera" and look for errors, you might have to install additional packages...
