|
|
I recently installed SMS 2.0.3, and I get an error when trying to log on to webmin. I get an error: An error occurred while loading https://localhost:1000/right.cgi?open=system&open=status: The process for the https://localhost died unexpectedly.
After visiting the Konqueror security settings , I see that the Webmin Webserver on SMS is valid only until Friday 27 July 2012, so I guess that's the reason why webmin can't connect. How do I get a new certificate?
Thank you in advance |

To update certificate just do
Code: | cp /etc/ssl/private/server.pem /etc/webmin/miniserv.pem |
and restart webmin
Code: | /etc/webmin/restart |
Although I don't think that's the reason why konqueror ain't working, most likely is the openssl library difference..
You can install firefox to solve your problems...
Code: | slapt-get -u
slapt-get -i mozilla-firefox seamonkey-solibs |

Mozilla didn't start after installation, I'm sorry I didn't get it to work, it crashed. SSL works from my desktop machine running Debian with Firefox, essentially the place i'm using to access the server everyday. Next week i'll re-install Firefox and copy the crash log from terminal.
Thank you again. |

This is what happens when I locally try to load Firefox. |

I see, the problem. I had tested in LiveCD and worked, but didn't see the missing packages in Native.
I have added missing packages in pasture and x-kde-addon...
Thanks for the bug report.
