Thanks in advance

If you are referring to
http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Tutorials/Setting_up_a_server#Linux_instructions
then just download openjdk packages or java from oracle and use the
start up command from the wiki...
Install openjdk from SMS repo with
Code:
slapt-get -u
slapt-get -i  openjre

and use start up command from
http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Tutorials/Setting_up_a_server#Start_the_Minecraft_server

Hi again,
I have downloaded the files you told me to and downloaded the .jar file to a new server folder and tryed to run it with
Code:
java -Xms1G -Xmx1G -jar minecraft_server.jar nogui
and I get an error.

I have attached a minecraft server crash report which will explain the error.

Could you please help me fix this.

nss.cfg is missing, it exists in openjdk, try installing that as well...

Code:
slapt-get -i openjdk

It still doesn't work. I get what looks like the same error.

P.S: I am running the commands via SSH in PuTTY in windows, logged in as root. Would that make a difference to weather it should work?

No it's OK, you need seamonkey-solibs too, from slackware...
http://slackware.mirrors.tds.net/pub/slackware/slackware64-current/slackware64/l/seamonkey-solibs-2.12.1-x86_64-1.txz

I just test it myself, I only install openjdk ans seanmonkey-solibs and run server with
Code:
java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar nogui

you should see something like...

Code:

Where do I place the seamonkey-solibs package once I have downloaded it or how do I install it?

Never mind, I have installed it now using
Code:
wget http://slackware.mirrors.tds.net/pub/slackware/slackware64-current/slackware64/l/seamonkey-solibs-2.12.1-x86_64-1.txz
upgradepkg --install-new seamonkey-solibs-2.12.1-x86_64-1.txz

Thanks for your help.

Well, Mine-craft allows to create anything which can be imagine that can be shaped with square blocks. I found site http://www.ranker.com/list/top-5-crazy-things-built-in-minecraft/val1s as very informative. Thanks
