|
|
Hi again!
One thing I've often thought about, but never asked, is if there is any kind of installed and preconfigured software firewall in SMS? I never had any problems of that kind so I suspect there is none?
Looked among the packages list for 1.6.0 and only found:
efg-1.17-noarch-1sms. If I install it, is it hard to configure? (I'm only used to the fairly simple-configured Norton, Panda and F-secure from Windows and the easy Yast2-firewall in OpenSuse)
Best regards

Thank you!
I've never heard of such, but after reading your link it didn't seem too frightening to configure. Does it work "standalone" or do I have to combine it with some application that applies the generated tables?
Regards

It's only a script rc.firewall that start at boot.
No special app or something.
