According to your features list, UW imap is what sms uses. To might embarassment, I can't find it. But that is a separate issues Wink

I have been working on alot of apps to see different configurations and most of them use cyrus or postfix.

Perhaps you could look at using cyrus or postfix.

On another issues: Can I install postfix myself with normal slackware pkg manager without corrupting anything Smile

UW-IMAP it's an inet server... open /etc/ined.conf and you will find it.
/usr/sbin/popa3d
/usr/sbin/imapd

I already have upload add-ons of postfix and dovecot, so you can use them...
I build them for use with liveCD to stop sendmail, UW-IMAP, replace some files and group,passwd,shadow files. and start postfix, clamav-milter, dovecot it's not running at start... You can start it through /etc/rc.d/rc.dovecot start
Dovecot's version is 1.0.5 I wanted 1.1beta2 but since it's a beta I 'm waiting for 1.1 to be released, I find it better.
