Hi, welcome.
In the extras cd there is a folder DLNA. In that folder is fuppes. Just copy to your server and type 'installpkg nameoffuppespackage. That's all there is to it.
good luck |

sorry, I have never used Fuppes. So, I can't answer your question. Give it a little bit of time and I am sure someone will answer your question.
best of luck |

Under DLNA there are two alternatives, one is fuppes and the other is mediatomb, which ever you choose you must install common like
Code: | installpkg extra/common/*.txz |
Same way install fuppes or mediatomb.
To start fuppes run
Code: | /etc/rc.d/rc.fuppes start |
and point your browser at http://sms:7020
You may need to edit /var/lib/fuppes/fuppes.cfg accordingly.
To start mediatomb edit /etc/rc.d/rc.mediatomb.conf with your data (user, port e.t.c), start mediatomb with
Code: | /etc/rc.d/rc.mediatomb start |
and point your browser e.g. at
http://sms:55600
If you want to use them for live mode, boot with changes disabled and create a package like described in
http://sms.it-ccs.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=82
for instance
Code: | installpkg -root /some/dir extra/DLNA/{common,fuppes}/*.txz
dir2xzm /some/dir /tmp/fuppes.xzm |
and place fuppes.xzm in /sms/modules in your USB stick.
