I read a grea article on how to setup multiple mysql databases for multiple apps.
The article is well written with step by step instructions. I tried it and it works! For instance a mail db, groupware db, and so on.
The article is in Sys Admin magazine; July 2006 vol 15 number 7: titled
Managing Multiple Instances of MySql on a single host.
