One other thing I haven't figured out is how to mount my Centon USB Flash Drive, and copy files with mc. I doesn't appear to auto mount under /mnt
or /media. What is the process to get a USB Flash Drive mounted so it
can be accessed? lsusb shows the device connected to
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 4381:0165

What other commands will help detect and mount the USB Drive? It works just fine on Debian 6.0.

It's formatted as FAT32, and used as a xfer device

mount doesn't show any devices attached with a FAT32 or vfat filesystem.

Just type 'blkid' and locate you flash drive and mount accordingly

THANKS, blkid was the key I have missed over the years. Once I found
the /dev/sdb1 info it worked perfect.
