I have been trying to configure roundcubemail and started to get these msgs:

warning: SASL authentication problem: unable to open Berkeley db /etc/sasldb2: No such file or directory

Does this mean the sasl for postfix is corrupted?

Unless you didn't change something in postfix configuration, then errors are from roundcube config.
I suppose errors occur only when you send mail through roundcube.
See if you can recreate errors when sending with "mailto" or squirrelmail.

I was looking at roundcube source, they have some patches for sasl in 0.4beta.
You can try a daily snapshot if you like.
