I am getting these messages repeatedly.

could you tell me what they mean?

It's about /etc/postfix/smtpd.conf which tells to use saslauthd and looks at /etc/saslauthd.conf.
I've compiled cyrus-sasl with mysql and ldap support, since you are not using the sql aux plugin, cyrus complain , but it's harmless.
I don't know if you state a false/dummy entry in saslauthd.conf or smtpd.conf if it stops, since it's not complaining about ldap.

thank you. I thought that might be the case. I will try putting dummy info on test machine and see what happens.
