I just wanted to share some tools and resources that I personally have found useful.
Slackware:
www.slackware.com/~/alien ( this is alien bob's site and repository. Very useful.
www.slackbuilds.org - one of my favorite sites for slackware packages
http://humanreadable.nfshost.com/main/index.htm - I learned alot from this site, being a newbie to Slackware. Really informative and a writing style that is easy to follow.
Slackware distros:
I've tried all the ones that google could find. On my personal laptop I use Absolute. It is incredibly fast! And really stable. Check it out: www.absolutelinux.org
Routers:
I use zeroshell.net for my opensource router. It is simply the best I could find. It has it all. Security, wireless, captive portal, and much more. |
