Well an old rc.opendap slip into new openldap package making startup script useless.
Just open /etc/rc.d/rc.openldap and change
if [ ! -r /var/lib/run/slapd.pid ];
to
if [ ! -r /var/run/slapd.pid ];
you can alternative upgrade the package from SMS-Current tree.
