When I boot native cd to do an install, the screen is full. After install, I am getting about 1024x768.
My screen is 1680x1050. I run xorgsetup and it generates a config with 1600x1200 which is okay. But it only fills screen when running X.
How do I change it when I am not running X?

1600x1050 must be widescreen 1600x1200 it's not, but if that's ok with you.
edit /etc/lilo.conf and change 'vga=791' to 'vga=796' and run lilo.

I was in X session and went to control panel>boot manager and changed there, before I saw your post.
Now I know how to change at command line
