Does anybody have any idea about how to integrate this driver (and where to find it) into SMS?

Uhmmm... so this thing here is not going to help without kernel recompilation? Not very keen on doing this on LiveCD...

Probably it won't work, unless you use SMS.Native kernels.
Download ip3945.lzm
It's for LiveCD you should not have any problems with that...
If you like I can build you packages with the old and new subsystem to try them..
I'm not having an intel wireless adapter so you have to do the testings Wink

No problem... only issue is that laptop I was using is now dedicated to other tests, but as soon as I'm able I will make additional test with modules and will post the results.
