I am running slackware with 2.6.28 kernel on my laptop (Absolute) It was such a major change because of all the fixes that slackware did, I did a fresh install. It has me thinking about what you are planning to do when moving to 2.6.28 kernel.
Maybe when you release I will build on another box and then transition over.
BTW: I am using ext4 for the last two days but have not noticed any differences or issues. |

I'm not worry for now, since the upgrade to 2.6.28 kernels, slackware current tree is far away from stable at the moment for SMS.
Plus that I'm not a fan of KDE 4, I find it quite difficult and slow to work with it.
I prefer KDE 3.

well that makes sense. I will not run kde4 as well. I've used it on Kubuntu and system crashes quite frequently.
staying with kde3 or maybe xfce, or lxde are possibles if they stay with kde4.
thanks for the answer. |
