I tried installing wine from slackbuilds.org but it does not install. It shows the scripts are being installed but after it finishes, when I type wine, it says command not found.

Locate only finds the orginal directory for the install process. Any thoughts on why it does not install?

Also I have devel packages installed.
thanks

Slackbuild creates a package (.tgz), usually in /tmp.
Have you installed the package, with 'installpkg'?

no package in /tmp. However, I see that it is trying to configure the OpenGl option and that is probably the problem since its not installed.

thanks for the reply
