Hi everybody and Happy New Year!!

I am having a problem with my dsl configuration and I am hoping someone will be able to give me some guidance or a link to how to solve.

I am trying to bring up a community web site. Initially, I had easydns.com and they provided dynamic dns services. Everything on the web site worked and I was happy. However, I found that any sending email from yahoo.com would not get delivered. This is because yahoo thinks dynamic dns providers could be spoofing. So, now I am trying to reconfigure my network.

I have a DSL modem that uses PP0E to connect to internet.
I have two routers that are feature rich.
One SMS server.
I have static public ips from DSL provider.

My problem is that the DSL modem does not support loopback, so I cannot see my website from within and having problems having the dns work right.

I heard that one way to solve this is to use a router that supports PP0E and put the SMS server behind it. I am not sure how this gets configured. Hopefully, someone out there knows how to do this or can point me to a link that tells how to do it.

The help would really be appreciated.

thanks

What seems to be the problem, your mail server?
Local network users will access your server, from local IP and outsiders will access you server through public IP.
If you have a domain register e.g. nemo.somewhere.com and your server hostname is nemo.somewhere.com, local users will access through the same domain.
local users access nemo at 192.xxx.xxx.xxx
external users access nemo at 212.xxx.xxx.xxx
If local users don't use nemo as DNS, you can force each machine to listen to it.
