lzm2dir : command not found

im trying to install KDE on my fresh HDD install.

for the install i used the 2 cds (install and extra)

SMS Native Installation CD version 1.3.12
SMS Native Installation CD #2 Extra Content

wen i try "lzm2dir kde138.lzm /"

it reply
-"bash lzm2dir: command not found"

im confused right now.

i try as much as i could to find what to do, anyon can help me its here.

Hello and welcome...
lzm2dir is used on SMS.Live.CD.
While you installing SMS.Native.CD you probably choose full installation, so kde and xorg are already installed, just configure your X window server with 'xorgsetup' and type 'startx'.

If you didn't choose full install and you are not select Xorg&KDE from Slackware/x menu, just install it from SMS.Native.CD-1.3.12-Install with the command
'installpkg slackware/x/x-kde-addon.tgz'

Thx alot!!!!

Configured and started. nice!!!!

As you could see im a noob on linux. One of my friends talked me alot about linux and specialy S-M-S.

i was wandering is there a place i could get all the info i need to start to be comfortable whit linux.

Im a computer technicien and i worked alot whit DOS so promts doesn't scare me.

Well since you are using SMS (aka Slackware) you can start with slackbook.
