Talk about screwing up! I really blew it. I thought the fastest way to get groupware and mail up was just to change all occurances of:

dc=sms, dc=org.

I thought all configs were in /etc folder but I must be missing some of them.

How can I take your configs and subsitute my domain name and have it work?

There must be a straightforward way of doing it.

Help! I know this is beyond the call of duty but could you straighten me out Smile

Well if you want to change Ldap then you must delete and create your own, as far as I know, and probably install egroupware manual.
Just go to phpldapadmin and export the schema and change dc=sms,dc=org to your needs, delete the old and import the new modified ldif. You must create the admin account again and change the configuration of egroupware.
If that doesn't work you need to install egroupware manual to your ldap database.

thanks. I was pretty sure that I would have to do it manually. Thanks again.

One last thing about ldap. Did you create in phpLdapadmin or in text editor.

What template did you use? Where can I see your configuration?

thanks

Text editor but it's the same...
I believe
cat /etc/openldap/egroupware.ldif
will show you what you want Wink
