Hi there
I have installed SMS on my brand new Intel Atom DN2800MT motherboard.
I have tried the 64 bit Native install ISO and the live 64bit ISO
My latest attempt is the 32bit Native. This install is up and running and I can login and use the webmin app from my main computer.
My problem is that I have no video output from this install (or any of the others) even though I can use SSH to log into the server.
I can't use the file manage applet from webmin either as this just sits there showing a blank applet.
Can someone point me in a direction which will help?

Hi,
you can try to edit /etc/lilo.conf and change "vga=791" to "vga=normal"
and run lilo again...
If you are not familiar with bash do
| Code: | sed -i "s,^vga = 791,vga = normal,g" /etc/lilo.conf
lilo |
Reboot and see how it goes...
If you install KDE and want to use it, you can alternative enable VNC
Edit /etc/rc.d/rc.vncservers.conf
create a password with "vncpasswd" and enable it with
| Code: | smsconfig vnc on
smsconfig vnc start |
File manager applet in webmin require java in your web browser...

What's the specs of your server, of if you know your graphics card?
