What do you think about the possibility to configure the network ( dhcp, static ip, host domain) during installing setup, like is in slackware?

If you're referring to SMS.Native.CD you can do that already...
Instead of 'setup' type 'setup.original' and you will get Slackware full installer, you will have to select 'a' series and accept sms packages during installation.
Not too fancy way but it's an option for now.
I just remove few lines from Pat's installer to be more easier and less confusing
for beginners.
If you're referring to SMS.Live.CD it's a good thought.
Of course all that you mentioned it's on "netconfig" command.
You can change all that after the installation with just typing 'netconfig'
