|
|
hello-
Are there other dependencies that should be installed to get Samba 4 working/started?
I have installed (after upgrading to 4 using slapt-get --dist-upgrade:
1/2 Get http://sms.it-ccs.com/isos/SMS-Current/ libdaemon 0.14-i486-1sms
2/2 Get http://sms.it-ccs.com/isos/SMS-Current/ avahi 0.6.31-i486-3sms
but still receive this error:
Starting Samba: /usr/sbin/smbd -D
/usr/sbin/smbd: error while loading shared libraries: libgssapi.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
All other services seem to be working ok after reboot.
thanks for your help |

Hi,
you need heimdal package, gssapi is from there, and cifs-utils if not already installed.
Code: | slapt-get -i heimdal cifs-utils |
