you mentioned in the announcement link, that if someone wanted to try a more recent kernel in native sms, then you would provide it. I would be interested in trying and testing it. No, hurry though. Still playing with 1.3.6.

I have already uploaded one kernel here

It's hugesmp with squashfs and aufs patches for using it for livecd too...
I have removed the bootsplash since it's not available at 2.6.24.2 plus the splash was starting to annoy me a lot lately, and a lot of users in the past, and since it's a shell server, just keep it clean...
I replaced the boot logo thought, with SMS logo.
I'm playing with splashy now, I 've in mind uploading a splashy package if someone wants graphics.
To install the kernel just install the package and run lilo.
It doesn't matter if you install LiveCD or NativeCD it will work on both.
It's quite simple...
