I know better, but
I updated v1.6.5 to the newer kernel and forgot to run lilo after update. I have PXE booted to the native cd ( v. 1.6.5). Can you provide steps to running lilo on the local machine from a PXE boot.
thanks |

mounted /dev/sda1 and chrooted from Native cd and fixed running lilo. But now squid is not working . running kernel 3.2.20 smp.
Linux sms165 3.2.20-smp #2 SMP Mon Jun 11 14:15:43 EEST 2012 i686 Intel(R) Atom(TM) CPU D525 @ 1.80GHz GenuineIntel GNU/Linux
Starting squid daemon:
/usr/sbin/squid -f /etc/squid/squid.conf
/usr/sbin/squid: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.15' not found (required by /usr/sbin/squid)
is there an updated version of squid? |

I have a feeling, you are running SMS-1.6.4, because I can recreate error with latest squid packages and SMS-1.6.4.
What's the output of "cat /etc/sms-version"?
Did you by any change, made a partial upgrade?

I am certain I installed 1.6.5. I used slapt-get to update/upgrade then used
--ignore-excludes to upgrade kernel and libs
root@sms165:~# cat /etc/sms-version
SMS 1.6.6 |

Yes you are right, you have found a bug
I was testing SMS.LiveCD which has gcc-g++ so no error, but in native installation without devel packages complains...
I'll update today cxxlibs package amongst others.
You can also install gcc-g++ to fix that until I upload them...
Thanks for the bug report.
