If you can't login remotely from anywhere, try to restart fail2ban with
Code: | /etc/rc.d/rc.fail2ban restart |
or restart the server.

Hello
I'm sorry, but you have not properly understood ... Access to webmin I am, moreover, under the Root ... he is the only user ... Only I accidentally removed all his administrative rights ... now I can not recover them, it turns out that the admin for me forever closed ... (How to reset Webmin login to default? |

If you believe it's a webmin issue the easiest way is to remove package webmin and re-install it, or you can look at
/etc/webmin/ for
webmin.acl and webmin.groups files and if your admin user is there.
Default login for webmin is
user: admin
pass: admin
If you change it and forgot login details use changepass.pl like
Code: |
/usr/local/webmin/changepass.pl /etc/webmin [your user] [yournewpassword] |

Thank you very much! It really helped, I took the option to edit your files and webmin.atsl webmin.groups. All rights reinstated the user Root. |
