I am trying to install sms 1.3 on an AMD box with nvidia graphics card, sata drives.
With debian or mandrivia the installs see the partitions as /dev/sda. SMS sees it as /dev/hda. If I install sms it goes through install and reboots and reboots and reboots. Just goes into a loop.
Is this because its 64bit? |

On the fourth try - sms installed. It appears to be working but will test to make sure. |

I have experience various issues when I install different Operating Systems including windows for testing them on the same partition or disk, and not format the disk or partition before, sometimes even and the master boot record, with an external program.

That got nothing to do with it.
All systems now are 64bit since all cpus in the market are.
I would like to release later an SMS 64bit to utilize the potentials and power of the 64bit core processors.
