|
|
I am testing 1.5.3. I configured bind and rebooted server. I get this error in logs:
managed-keys-zone ./IN: loading from master file managed-keys.bind failed: file not found
I did a named-checkzone and got this error:
named-checkzone cliqn.net ns1.cliqn.net
zone cliqn.net/IN: loading from master file ns1.cliqn.net failed: file not found
zone cliqn.net/IN: not loaded due to errors.
However, an A record does exist for ns1.cliqn.net. I have never had this error before and was wondering if this might be a bug or misconfig in 1.5.3.
thanks |

when you restart bind "/etc/rc.d/rc.bind restart" do you get any errors?

only errors upon restart in /var/log/syslog:
managed-keys-zone ./IN: loading from master file managed-keys.bind failed: file not found
Sep 20 08:40:37 ns1 named[14377]: managed-keys-zone ./IN: loading from master file managed-keys.bind failed: file not found
thats it. |

Hi,
I made a clean install using current SMS.
After reboot I found the following errors:
1. bind:
Code: | ntpd[1615]: line 28 column 19 syntax error, unexpected T_EOC, expecting T_Ipv4_flag or T_Ipv6_flag or T_String |
for this I found a workaround here
Quote: | Line 28 is
Code: | multicastclient # listen on default 224.0.1.1 |
As it was a syntax error, then there could wrong with the spelling, something missing from the line or some other error. Maybe the "multicast" directive no longer knows the default - so I changed the line to:
Code: | multicastclient 224.0.1.1 # listen on default 224.0.1.1 |
|
2. Bind again, same as baboo:
Code: | named[1193]: managed-keys-zone ./IN: loading from master file managed-keys.bind failed: file not found |
for this I found a workaround here
Code: | touch /var/named/managed-keys.bind |
3. slapd:
Code: | slapd auxpropfunc error no mechanism available |
... but for this one I still have to dig some more....
Cheers! |

1. I had it commented so didn't notice that, thanks I'll fix it.
2. Similar workaround can be found here, thanks again.
3. You can ignore the error, this is gone quite far back here
You can try to remove libsql.* from /usr/lib/sasl and message is gone.
Thanks again for the info.

I have no /usr/lib/sasl directory in 1.5.3.

It's /usr/lib/sasl2 and /usr/lib64/sasl2 on SMS64.
