hi gerasimos,

I have 2 problems about email attachments that I hope you could help me with:

1. In felamimail, I see the file being attached and sent without problems but when I check the recipient's message and download the attachment it's always at 0 kb.

2. Is it possible to attach files from the filemanager module? The only option present when I click on attachments is the "Choose File" upload thingy and that too has a problem as mentioned above.

Also, I found out that I can't change passwords. Even the egroupware admin account can't, though the "can change password" option is checked. It says "ERROR: Failed to change password. Please contact your administrator."

Can you create new users?
Have you try switching v1.6.001 to test?

hi gerasimos,

ok, so I tried using egw 1.6.001 back again and everything worked including the password but then the pop up error "No XML Response Was Returned By Function doXMLHTTP" returned. So I took up your suggestion and tried to downgrade php. Using pkgtool I uninstalled php-5.3.1-i486-4sms, downloaded php-5.2.13-i486-1sms.txz from the package section of this site and installed it with "installpkg" command.

Did I do it right? Because the error still shows, and when I checked the "php information" at egroupware it still shows version 5.3.1. Please help me... thnx!
