A DLNA media server -
FUPPES supports a wide range of UPnP MediaRenderers as well as on-the-fly transcoding of various audio, video and image formats. FUPPES also includes basic DLNA support.
I know UPnP is pretty much dead but DLNA support might be useful to allow to stream the content to Media Client (ie:XBMC) directly without having another server running for just this function. This is one of the features of FreeNas that I enjoyed playing with.
Just a thought....
