I cannot access cups. I get an error msg that says it cannot connect to port 631.
Is anyone else having problems with cups on 1.4.3. Just trying to determine if its only me or problem in 1.4.3.
thanks |

well I can access cups admin with http://localhost:631 but not with my hostname or host ip.
On the other hand, I have no problems with cups on 1.4.2 server that I am running. |

Turns out it was not executable. Made it execute and now all works. |

You mean the script "/etc/rc.d/rc.cups" was not executable? _________________ Come to visit my own site about GNU/Linux!

No. I mean the desktop app when logged in as root. Sorry, should have been more clear. |
