how can i check if drives are properly setup and has maximum performance ?
i have 4x1tb drives, and 1x80gb for system (sda),
hdparm -t /dev/sdx :

i tried 3 cables, all of them 5E, from the box, not made by someone, originally packed
tomorrow i will buy CAT6 cable, if this wont help i will change lan card to realtek or intel

is there any chance to do it with some script ? i don't have physical acces to the server and if i execute first command ifconfig eth0 down i will loose access to the server i think
