in the last part of your answer, do you mean that with the Native CD, booting with this additional parameter:

SMS+XORGKDE+DEVELPKGS

will start it live plus KDE and Xorg?

I saw that the KDE can be added directly to the available ISOs and then rebuild them to have it available on the live CD. I did it and it worked very well.

Yes, I can confirm both of you... it is mainly the DHT which is useful (mainly in the case you don't use private trackers).

Anyway, less clients doesn't necessarily mean less speed.

I managed installing everything on the sms-live + kde lzm module.

The packages needed were:

No way to make it work... I started live plus KDE lzm module... added:

gtk+-1.2.10-i486-4
gtk+2-2.12.12-i486-1

and it didn't work. Synce it is written in pyton... I tried adding also:

That's a great idea!

Yes, developers of wicd told me that I can just copy and paste from another installation and adapt to my network.

I didn't think of the KDE lzm module for the live CD.

I saw the wicd package but I don't think it will work without a GUI... and it needs X. I didn't install that and therefore I can't use it by now.

Now my only doubt is related to the initial page presented by the Apache... I updated (using netconfig) the hostname and the domain... but on the starting page presented by the h ...
