Yeah, the boot problem and root-password problem was with that setup. I will re-do it today and doublecheck so I didn't change something by mistake. I'll post back with the results. |

Yeah, that's what I did, I think. I ran the Native CD again, and deleted the partition with /var/log and then wrote to disk. I am just laborating with an older machine, so dataloss ain't a trouble, so ... |
